From understanding essential event logistics, to crafting heartfelt marketing strategies, refining your unique vision, and ensuring financial sustainability for the long-haul, this course goes beyond typical training. It’s a journey into the heart of conscious dance leadership, equipping you to make a meaningful difference in your community.

How It Works

Sessions will be held online on Zoom twice a week over the course of 8 weeks, from November 2nd to December 21st.

Skill Sessions: Thursdays 6-8PM EST
Dedicated to the technical aspects of event production and community leadership, these sessions will provide practical training and live feedback from our team on your plans to launch your event.

Core Sessions: Saturdays 1-3PM EST

These sessions will bring together students from both the DJ and Leadership trainings. Focused on the culture of conscious dance, they will explore how this next wave of DJs and leaders can create the most impact upon graduation.

*Each student will be assigned to a ‘pod’ of small groups of 4-6 people to receive more intimate support in-between sessions and will have at least one private 1:1 session with a mentor.

*Students should attend at least 6 out of the 8 weekly sessions. All sessions will be recorded and can be re-watched.

ADD ON: BEYOND DJ Training

For those who also wish to take the Leadership training, these sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 6-8PM ET and will provide guided training and mentorship in the art of Conscious Dance DJ’ing.

FAQ’S

  • No prior experience is necessary. The program is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who are passionate about leading transformative events and gatherings.

  • You’ll learn essential leadership skills, including event production, community building, effective communication, and creating a safe, inclusive, and transformative environment for participants.

  • You should plan to dedicate 5-10 hours per week to the training, including live sessions, group work, and personal study. The time commitment may vary based on your involvement and goals.

  • Yes, the program includes practical exercises, case studies, and opportunities to plan and host mock events or real gatherings, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in a supportive environment.

  • The price for this 8-week training will be $2,000 but for this first cohort, we are offering a special discount of $1,650.

    If you also sign up for the DJ training, you will receive an additional $200 discount.

  • We are committed to inclusivity and understand that financial constraints can be a barrier for some. That's why we offer a limited number of scholarships for participants who are deeply committed to the course but currently lack the means to afford it. If you are passionate about becoming a transformative DJ and creating powerful dance experiences, mention your need for a scholarship in the application.

  • Yes there are payment plans available. To secure your spot in either/both trainings, a $500 deposit is required. The remainder of the payment can be made in installments to help spread the cost over the duration of the course.

  • While the training emphasizes leadership within the conscious dance community, the principles and skills you’ll learn are applicable to a wide range of leadership roles in various contexts.

  • Graduates are invited to join an exclusive online community where they can continue to receive support, share experiences, collaborate on projects, and access ongoing learning opportunities.
